Strategic Development
Strategic Development is specifically designed to deal with the concrete problem the business is facing and it is an in-depth strategy process, which moves from a definition of the real problem facing the business, to an understanding of patterns in changes with direct consequences for the business, to a sober analysis of the potential gaps between new demands/new needs and the business, to an adjustment of strategies and initiatives, and finally anchoring in the business.
The purpose of the strategy process is to ensure that the strategies and planned initiatives of the business are future proof and take new customer needs and new demands into account in order to make them profitable. |
|
Strategic Development consists of several elements, which can be implemented as one all-inclusive process or as separate projects:
1. Situation Analysis and Need Clarification: The starting point of the business is clarified and the strategic needs are defined.
2. Consumer Analysis: Based on the defined needs, we conduct and in-depth analysis ,based on Lighthouse Cph’s fact-based and thoroughly tested method, to reveal behavioral changes and patterns in changes, which have direct consequences for the business.
3. Gap Analysis: Based on our knowledge of the crucial changes, we conduct a gap analysis of the current strategies and market offers of the business. We point out the areas, where there is a great distance between the strategic initiatives of the business and the future demand.
4. Anchoring: In a close collaboration with the management of the business, we clarify how the business wishes to react to the most important gaps and conduct an adjustment of strategies and products on the basis of identified gaps. A plan of action is devised and the new knowledge, the new potential and the initiatives of the business in relation to these are communicated throughout the organization.
