Lighthouse Cph’s Fieldwork
Naturally, understanding the changes in people’s everyday lives requires us to spend a lot of time being in, participating in and observing everyday life. A team of researchers observe behavioral changes every day in the streets, in the media, on the Internet etc. Their most important task is to spot and collect behavioral changes that diverge from the prevailing behaviors.
Furthermore, we have scouts, some of which are young people at various educational institutions, who are equipped with iPhones with which to send observations, photos and films about behavioral changes directly to Lighthouse Cph’s database.
These tens of thousands of behavioral changes are then submitted to Lighthouse Cph’s sociological expert analysis, where connections, patterns, themes and the overall features of the changes are identified and verified.
This is the core of Lighthouse Cph’s work. We never start from scratch. We start with an extensive body of knowledge about the changes taking place and from that point on we can get more and more specific with regard to the subject and the business. This is the core from which our lectures originate and it is the pivotal point of our monitoring. |
