Understanding the needs and demands of our immediate future is not very difficult. All it requires is that one doesn’t get lost in day-to-day operations and the closed logic of one’s market.
Actually, one often needs to take two steps back from one’s own market to be able to spot brand new opportunities and see the demands of tomorrow in a new light.

The core of Lighthouse Cph’s work is business sociology and the constant generation of knowledge about our present and our immediate future in a form and at a level of precision that allows it to be used directly for business development and for identifying new market opportunities.
Basically, this knowledge is deep and wide and requires a great openness to moves that one hadn’t anticipated and to phenomena that one hadn’t considered. So in order to ensure this very openness, the knowledge is generated independently of trades, target groups and other specific angles. Subsequently, a specific angle can be applied and further research can be conducted in relation to specific issues.
